Having the opportunity to live and study in another country, or hosting someone from another country, has the profound effect of reminding us that America is not the only country out there. I experienced this as a Rhodes Scholar in England at Oxford University and returned home with a greater appreciation for the world around us. I am pleased that Global Indiana will focus on both welcoming foreign students and visitors to our state and into the lives of so many Hoosiers as well as sending citizens from our state overseas where they will no doubt serve as excellent people-to-people ambassadors.”
